Resurgence

Forlorn place for all;

Mesmerizing the fall!

The silhouettes ahead,

Everyone in dread.

I looked up at the caliginous sky:

Alas! Moon's hidden-by

No life, no pain, no gain- nothing to ratify.

Conglomerate! Conglomerate!

Earth's mingling- tear or joy?

Conglomerate - vociferated 'The City f Joy'.

Humans' destruction is visible:

Epiphany of it is not feasible

 'Earth will be a purgatory!'

Trees ceased their susurrus dancing,

Winds stopped flourishing.

I ran broadway! broadway!

Struck by the quietude midway!

Earth's an abandoned ship,

The lustrous moon, hidden deep.

Minutes hand slipped -

Our destiny: nobody can predict!

Tenebrosity, demonstrating the newborn new,

No ploughing on the farm, amidst dew.

Sundry cars parked,

Dogs in the road barked.

Everyone locked at home,

No way to refuse this dome.

Innocent people suffering;

With dyspnoea, and tapering!

No certainty of life and quietus,

When the evil ambushes us.

Dark! Dark! Spectral vignette,

No moonlight, even yet.

We are humans!

Worshipers of Prometheus;

We don't fear the darkness;

And fight merrily, the ferocious.

We will endure this belligerent fight,

Until the exquisite moon

Infuse courage mates:

Darkness will fade.

We will fight

Everyone will be alright!

India - Our Pride

 India is our pride:

Which shines every time!

Its land is home to several briskly and sparkling rivers;

Like it's different people known together,

No matter, the river comes from where?

People drink its water everywhere.

Just as the mighty Himalayas stands high above us,

Our National Flag stands high above in our hearts:

Reminding of our national heroes –

Who sacrificed their lives to raise the prodigious flag for us.

The lusty Bay of Bengal and the furious Arabian Sea, protect our country from all sides -

Like our brave soldiers, who martyr their lives, to protect our country from belligerent fights!

The vastly arid deserts of the west, the perpetual Indian Ocean in the south, the tremendous mountains of the northeast and the fertile plains of the north: defines our unity,

That we will always be together for our stability.

The disparities of our culture and language do not form our weakness,

But enriches our likeness -

We saw the rise of the independent sun together!

Indians stand for humanism;

Never let any of their fellows bear exploitation.

We stand for the protection of our mother nature,

And also for the world during their times of pressure.

The world's largest democracy, pulchritudinous forests, wondrous-- architectures like the Taj Mahal and the Qutub Minar are all present here!

This is the beauty of India

Which shall shine forever!

A Legacy of Vendetta

                                                                                Picture Credit: warhistoryonline. com

Snaps of the hefty rifles, the blaring of incendiary grenades:

Corpses plonked everywhere!

Defeated flags burning in flames,

Victor flags glistering like the Sun.

Some palaces demolished-

While some flourished:

Hostility everywhere!

The innocent lives lost in Pearl Harbor;

And the countless number of soldiers, who martyr.

Families got displaced;

Due to the war in place.

Children's forgot, their gleeful childhood--

Many even lost their parenthood!

Agony everywhere! Agony everywhere!

Finally, the Nazis surrendered:

The baneful war came to a stop forever, I shrieked with ecstasy!

“BOM!” - blasted the pernicious atom bombs in Hiroshima and Nagasaki,

The large traditional Japanese Minka's; detonated into Lilliputian specks of ash!

Khrock-Zazz! Khrock -Zazz!

‘It's all dark...

Oh, God! It was an ephialtes

“But what about the lives demise?

Why we have such a legacy of vendetta”?’

I thought and slept again!

Our Mother

 Long live mother India!

The mother who lost her noble sons,

At the bloody diversionary battles of Plassey and Buxar.

The one who blithely starved:

To give a frugal meal to her sons who worked hard!

She who bear, the torture of the labors,

And braced their bodies with Jager -

Never worried to revolt against the 'White Sahibs'.

She was our mother!

Who gave birth to our national gems,

Ready to sacrifice their lives to free our mother immured by them.

She came forward and put self-made 'Khadi' on her chest,

But never fear of getting a bullet in her chest!

She was our mother who never fright!

Finally, they were thrown out;

And our mother raised her flag with pride,

She made the dreams of every Indian right.

Long live mother India!

Long live her pride!
